Huelva prepares for the Spain Masters 2021

Huelva is ready to host the Spain Masters at the Palacio de los Deportes Carolina Marín from May 18.

The best players of the world are getting ready to hit the track and compete at the highest level in this latest round of the HSBC BWF World Tour, in the Super 300 category. More than 270 players from more than 30 countries will meet in this fourth edition of Spain Masters, celebrated previously in Barcelona.

The tournament will take place in full compliance with the COVID-19 protocol set by the BWF. A “green bubble” has been created with all the attendees (players, coaches, refereeing committee, organization staff and volunteers), who will restrict their mobility space until the end of the tournament. All of them will also have to undergo different PCR tests before and during the competition. The attendance of espectators will not be allowed this year.

The Huelva Spain Masters is the test-competition for the BWF World Championships, which will play in the same venue from November 29 to December 5, in the Absolut category, and from December 8 to 14, in Seniors.

All the news of the tournament can be followed through the official website, the BWF and FESBA websites, and the event’s social media.
